Numbers, not verdicts
Most tools say “photo rejected”. We say your head fills 59% of the frame, this document needs 71–80% — so you know exactly what to change, and by how much.
10 document types · 8 countries
Upload a photo from your phone or laptop. We measure it against the official requirements — head size, eye line, background, lighting, glare — and tell you precisely what to fix, before you submit it.

Each one carries its own published rules, dated and linked to the issuing authority.
The process
No account, no app, and no waiting for a human to look at it.
Pick the country and document. We show its exact rules — photo size, how much of the frame your head must fill, background colour, and whether glasses are allowed.
Use your phone camera right in the browser, with an on-screen head guide and a timer, or drop in a photo from your laptop.
Every rule appears as it is decided, with the measured number beside it. Then download the print-ready photo or have it emailed to you.
Why it works
Most tools say “photo rejected”. We say your head fills 59% of the frame, this document needs 71–80% — so you know exactly what to change, and by how much.
Every requirement links to the issuing authority's own page and records when we last verified it. Rules change; ours are versioned and dated, and the version that judged your photo is kept with it.
Uploads are deleted automatically within 24 hours and no biometric template is stored. Read the detail.
The background is removed and repainted in the exact colour your document requires, the crop is placed so the head height and eye line land inside the permitted band, and the file comes out at the precise pixel size and DPI — ready to print or upload.
Glasses, head coverings and expression need a human eye, so they are listed separately as “please check yourself” and never counted as passes. Claiming to have checked something we did not is the same error as a wrong verdict.

Questions
Anything not covered here is on your document's requirements page, which is generated from that document's own published rules.
Usually yes for the photo itself, but a selfie taken at arm's length distorts facial proportions and often fails the head-size rule. Better: prop the phone up about a metre away at eye height and use the timer, or ask someone to take it.
It varies by document — plain white for US and Indian documents, light grey for Schengen and the UK. Your document's requirements page shows the exact colour. We can replace the background for you, but starting with a plain, evenly lit wall is always safer, because some authorities reject photos that look edited.
Glasses are not permitted for US, Indian, Canadian or Chinese documents. Where they are allowed there must be no glare and no tint. Head coverings worn for religious reasons are generally accepted provided the full face from chin to forehead stays visible. Your document's requirements page states its own rule.
We check against the published requirements and show you the measured numbers, which removes the common causes of rejection. But consulates and passport offices apply their own discretion, so no service can honestly promise acceptance. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
It is deleted automatically within 24 hours, along with everything derived from it. We do not store face measurements or biometric templates, and we never sell or share your image. Full privacy detail.
